This is Lauren, one of my best friends. Every day I see her, I always hear her complain about herself at least once. She’ll say, “Ugh, I’m so fat” or “I hate my legs” or “I’ve gained weight, haven’t I?” No matter how many times I tell her she’s beautiful, I can’t convince her otherwise.
